# RugFreePump Consent

> Understand the RugFreePump consent process, required documents, wallet signatures, document versions, and when consent is required.

RugFreePump uses a wallet-based consent process before users can access financial operations on the platform.

You can freely explore RugFreePump without completing consent. However, you must have valid consent to perform actions such as creating a coin, buying bonding curve sale tokens, withdrawing contributed SOL, migrating raised liquidity, or claiming purchased tokens.

Consent is tied to your wallet address and the specific versions of the required legal documents you agreed to.

## What Is RugFreePump Consent?

RugFreePump Consent confirms that you have reviewed and agreed to the current required legal documents and meet the applicable eligibility requirements.

The consent process consists of:

1. Reviewing the required documents
2. Confirming that you understand and agree to them
3. Signing the consent agreement with your connected wallet

The wallet signature cryptographically confirms that the wallet controlling the address approved the consent.

The consent is completed through a **message signature**. It does not initiate a blockchain transaction, move SOL or tokens from your wallet, or require blockchain transaction/network fees.

Your assets remain under your control. The consent signature does not give RugFreePump permission to spend or transfer your assets.

## RugFreePump On-Chain Program Access Through External Applications

The RugFreePump on-chain program is permissionless. Users can interact with it through the RugFreePump platform or independently through external applications, platforms, services, bots, scripts, and other software interfaces.

### RugFreePump Platform vs. External Operations

When a financial operation is performed through the **RugFreePump platform**, it is subject to RugFreePump's platform services, consent process, Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Risk Disclosure, and other applicable platform requirements.

RugFreePump is responsible for its own platform services and for ensuring that applicable financial operations performed through the RugFreePump platform follow the required consent process.

When a financial operation is performed through an **external application or service**, the operation takes place outside the RugFreePump platform. Users are responsible for complying with the terms, consent requirements, disclosures, and applicable legal requirements of the external application or service they use.

RugFreePump does not control the consent processes, terms, disclosures, or legal requirements of independent external applications that interact with the RugFreePump on-chain program.

### On-Chain Activity and Database Records

RugFreePump's indexer monitors transactions involving the RugFreePump on-chain program and records the resulting on-chain activity in the RugFreePump database.

Because this process is independent of RugFreePump platform authentication and consent, a wallet may be recorded in the RugFreePump database through its on-chain interaction with the program even if it has not used the RugFreePump platform or completed RugFreePump Consent.

**External Application → RugFreePump On-Chain Program → Indexer → RugFreePump Database**

The existence of a database record does not, by itself, establish that the wallet used the RugFreePump platform or completed RugFreePump Consent.

### Responsibility

RugFreePump's responsibility is limited to its own platform services and the platform-level consent process for applicable financial operations performed through the RugFreePump platform.

Financial operations performed through external applications, platforms, services, bots, scripts, or other independent interfaces are outside the RugFreePump platform. RugFreePump is not responsible for the activities, representations, terms, compliance requirements, or consent processes of those external interfaces.

Complaints concerning the RugFreePump platform or its consent process should be directed to RugFreePump through the applicable support channels. Matters arising from an external application or service should be addressed to the respective provider.

> **Important:** Interacting with the RugFreePump on-chain program through an external application does not, by itself, constitute use of the RugFreePump platform or completion of RugFreePump Consent.

## When Is Consent Required?

Consent is required before performing RugFreePump financial operations.

This includes:

* **Creating a coin**
* **Buying tokens from a bonding curve sale**
* **Withdrawing contributed SOL**
* **Migrating raised liquidity**
* **Claiming purchased tokens**

If your wallet does not have a current consent when you attempt one of these operations, RugFreePump will require you to complete the consent process before continuing.

### Exploring Without Consent

Consent is **not** required simply to explore the platform.

You can browse publicly available information such as:

* Tokens and sales
* Profiles
* Sale statistics
* Platform information
* Documentation

If you do not want to complete consent, you can select **Logout** when the consent prompt is displayed and continue exploring RugFreePump.

You can return later and complete the consent process when you decide to use a financial operation.

## The Three Required Documents

Consent covers three required legal documents:

### Terms of Service

The **Terms of Service** define the terms and conditions governing your use of RugFreePump.

Read the [Terms of Service](/legal-and-compliance/terms-of-service)

### Privacy Policy

The **Privacy Policy** explains how information associated with your use of RugFreePump is handled.

Read the [Privacy Policy](/legal-and-compliance/privacy-policy)

### Risk Disclosure

The **Risk Disclosure** explains important risks associated with using RugFreePump, including risks related to tokens, bonding curve sales, blockchain transactions, wallets, market conditions, and other aspects of the platform.

Read the [Risk Disclosure](/legal-and-compliance/risk-disclosure)

> **Important:** When completing consent, always use the document links provided directly in the RugFreePump consent card. Those links identify the exact documents and versions you are being asked to agree to.

### Read Before You Agree

Do not treat the consent step as a formality.

Carefully review all three documents before selecting **Continue**. If you do not understand or agree with the applicable documents, do not continue with the consent process.

If necessary, seek independent professional advice before agreeing to the documents.

## How the Consent Process Works

When consent is required, RugFreePump guides you through the following process.

### 1. Open the Consent Card

If your wallet does not have a current consent and you attempt a financial operation, RugFreePump displays the consent card.

The card identifies the required documents and their applicable versions.

### 2. Review the Documents

Open the document links shown in the consent card and carefully read:

* Terms of Service
* Privacy Policy
* Risk Disclosure

Make sure you review the documents presented by the consent card before continuing.

### 3. Select Continue

After reviewing the documents, select **Continue**.

You will then be asked to approve a wallet signature.

### 4. Review the Wallet Request

Your wallet will display a signature request.

Review the request before approving it.

The consent request is a **message signature**. It does not initiate a blockchain transaction, move SOL or tokens, or require blockchain transaction/network fees.

### 5. Approve the Signature

If you agree to the applicable documents, approve the signature in your wallet.

The signature confirms that the wallet controlling the connected address completed the consent process.

### 6. Continue With Your Operation

After the consent has been successfully recorded, you can continue with the financial operation you originally attempted.

## Consent and Document Versions

RugFreePump legal documents are versioned.

Your consent is associated with the specific versions of the three required documents that you reviewed and agreed to.

For example, a consent may cover:

* Terms of Service v1.2
* Privacy Policy v1.3
* Risk Disclosure v1.2

The versions presented to you may change over time.

### When Any Document Changes

If a new version of **any one** of the three required documents is published, you must review and sign the updated consent before performing financial operations that require current consent.

For example:

Your existing consent covers:

* Terms of Service v1.2
* Privacy Policy v1.3
* Risk Disclosure v1.2

If the Risk Disclosure changes to v1.3, you must complete the consent process again.

You do not need to wait for all three documents to change.

**A new version of any required document triggers an updated consent requirement.**

### Why Versions Matter

Document versioning ensures that a consent can be associated with the exact versions that were presented to and accepted by the user.

A modified document is therefore not silently treated as the document previously accepted.

If a document needs to change, a new version is published.

Previously published versions are preserved rather than silently replaced.

## Consent Is Associated With Your Wallet

Consent is associated with the wallet address that completes the consent process.

This means consent is not simply a browser setting or temporary acknowledgment.

If you connect a different wallet, that wallet may need to complete its own consent process.

Changing your device or browser does not change which wallet address completed the consent.

You may still be asked to authenticate again when signing in from another device or browser.

## Wallet Signatures and Asset Security

The consent signature only confirms your agreement to the applicable documents. It does not authorize RugFreePump to spend or transfer your assets.

A consent signature:

* Does **not** move SOL or tokens
* Does **not** initiate a blockchain transaction
* Does **not** require blockchain transaction/network fees
* Does **not** give RugFreePump custody of your assets
* Does **not** provide RugFreePump with your private key

Actual financial operations require their own blockchain transaction approval through your wallet.

The consent signature is separate from those financial transactions.

## Protect Your Wallet

Only approve wallet requests that you understand and intend to initiate.

Before signing:

* Confirm that you are using the intended RugFreePump website
* Review what your wallet is asking you to sign
* Confirm that the request matches the action you are performing
* Reject unexpected requests
* Never share your seed phrase or private key

RugFreePump does not require your wallet's seed phrase, private key, or wallet password.

If a wallet request does not match what you expect, reject it and investigate before continuing.

## If You Do Not Agree

You are not required to accept the RugFreePump consent agreement.

If you do not agree with the required documents:

1. Do not approve the wallet signature.
2. Select **Logout** if the consent card is displayed.
3. Continue exploring the publicly available parts of RugFreePump.

Without a current consent, financial operations requiring consent will remain unavailable.

You can return later and complete the process if you decide to use those features.
